Hi, I’m Esther, the founder of Loupin.

I work in fashion and always dreamed of starting something of my own. I’ve also always been a huge animal lover, especially when it comes to dogs.

About a year and a half ago, my boyfriend and I got our little dachshund. We loved him so much that we wanted to take him with us everywhere. When he was still very small, he used to come to work with me. I would put him in a bag so I could carry him around, but also so he had a cosy little place to chill and sleep while I was working.

Since we live in the city, this was super handy, especially because he couldn’t walk very far when he was little.

The only problem was that I couldn’t find a dog carrier that I really liked. Most of them looked quite technical, were heavy, or were just a bit boring. I wanted a soft and comfy bag for my dog that also looked good when I wore it. Something that felt more like a fun accessory than a typical dog carrier.

So, I decided to make one myself.

I started designing and making the bags by hand, including all the patterns. I was just making them for us at first, but after a while people started asking me where I got my bag. When I told them I had made it myself, they started asking if I could make one for them too.

And that’s how Loupin started.

Loupin bags are made with lots of love, for dogs who love to be wherever you are. They’re comfy for your dog, easy to take with you, and made to look good with your outfit too.

I hope they bring you and your best friend as much joy as they’ve brought us.
